On 2 of June, within the framework of SPIEF 2021, REC and Alibaba.com, the Alibaba Group's online marketplace for wholesale suppliers and buyers, entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation and agreed to jointly promote the export agenda among Russian businesses, conduct regular training, webinars and other educational events, as well as jointly hold specialized online events to promote Russian goods among Alibaba.com users.

The first will be the Russian Online Trade Show that will allow exhibiting Russian goods and services on Alibaba.com. The event is, scheduled for October 2021. More than 300 Russian suppliers registered on the platform are planning to take part in the exhibition. Such events held on Alibaba.com can drive additional traffic and buyers to supplier pages.
